Lana Grossa Ecopuno Sfumato yarn

What is Lana Grossa Ecopuno Sfumato?

Lana Grossa Ecopuno Sfumato is a lightweight knitting yarn with a soft, airy structure and a gradual colour transition. It is made from 42% merino wool, 32% cotton and 26% baby alpaca. One 50-gram ball has a length of approximately 190 metres and is generally knitted with 4 to 4.5 mm needles. The combination of a light strand, soft fibres and blended shades gives your knitting a lively yet harmonious appearance.

What can you knit with Ecopuno Sfumato? This yarn is suitable for sweaters, cardigans, scarves, shawls and other lightweight garments and accessories. The colour gradient develops naturally as you knit, so even simple stitches create a clearly visible colour effect. Ecopuno Sfumato is therefore well suited to stocking stitch, garter stitch and simple textured patterns without the need to change colours repeatedly.

How do you choose the right Ecopuno Sfumato?

When choosing Lana Grossa Ecopuno Sfumato, you can look at the combination of the starting and ending shades and the way the colours blend into one another. How many balls do you need? This depends on the pattern, the size, the stitch used and your personal tension. For a women’s sweater in size 38-40, Lana Grossa gives approximately 300 grams as a guideline. Always check the yarn requirements in your pattern and make a tension swatch before starting.
