Knitting kits for women's sweaters and jumpers

A hand-knitted sweater is a personal garment that reflects your own style and colour preferences. In this category, you will find knitting kits for women's sweaters and jumpers in many different designs, from fine and lightweight sweaters to warm winter styles and comfortable oversized models.

Choose the design you would like to make and then select your preferred size and colour. Verelana automatically calculates how many balls of yarn are required for that specific sweater.

How does a women's sweater knitting kit work?

For each design, you first select the size you want to knit. Based on the pattern and selected size, the correct amount of yarn is calculated automatically. You then choose your preferred colour or colours.

You therefore do not have to calculate the number of balls yourself. If you would like some extra yarn, for example to make the sweater slightly longer, alter the sleeves or keep a spare ball, you can easily add an extra ball when ordering.

From lightweight summer sweaters to warm winter jumpers

The collection includes women's sweaters for different seasons and styles. Choose a lightweight sweater for spring or summer, a soft merino sweater, a comfortable oversized design or a warm jumper for colder days.

You can therefore choose not only by photo, but also according to the yarn used, its fibre composition, recommended needle size and the type of comfort you prefer.

Women's sweaters with Lana Grossa yarns

Many designs in this category are knitted with Lana Grossa yarns. The different yarn qualities offer a wide variety of textures and characteristics, from soft merino yarns to airy, bulky or lightweight yarns for summer projects.

The yarn used is matched to the original design. You choose from the available colours, while the system automatically puts together the correct quantity for your chosen size.

Which size should I choose for my knitting kit?

Available sizes vary by design. Always select the size that corresponds to the pattern and the fit you want. As soon as you select your size, the required amount of yarn is adjusted automatically.

This makes it easy to order the correct amount of yarn for your sweater without having to recalculate the quantities from the pattern yourself.

How much yarn do I need for a women's sweater?

The amount of yarn required depends on the design, size, yarn quality and fit of the sweater. A long or loose-fitting design will generally require more yarn than a shorter or more fitted sweater.

At Verelana, you do not need to calculate this yourself. Select your size and colour and the system automatically calculates the correct number of balls for the chosen design.

Knitting pattern, magazine and needles

Depending on the selected design, the required knitting pattern or magazine may be added when offered as an option. Suitable knitting needles can also be added where available.

Please note that the patterns are only available in Dutch, German or French. English-language patterns are not available. If you already own the required pattern, magazine or needles, you can simply order the yarn for the selected design.

Where can I buy a women's sweater knitting kit?

At Verelana, you can easily choose a women's sweater knitting kit online. Browse the different designs, select your size and favourite colour and let the system automatically calculate how many balls of yarn you need.

This allows you to start your sweater without having to calculate the yarn quantity yourself.
