Knitting and crochet kits: choose your design, size and colour

Would you like to knit a sweater, crochet a cardigan or start a new craft project without having to calculate how much yarn you need yourself? At Verelana, you will find hundreds of knitting and crochet kits for a wide variety of projects and age groups.

First choose the design you would like to make. Then select your preferred size and colour. Verelana automatically calculates how many balls of knitting or crochet yarn are required for that size, so you do not have to work out the quantities yourself.

How does a knitting kit at Verelana work?

For each design, you select the size you want to make. Based on that choice, the correct number of balls required for the model is calculated automatically. You then choose your preferred colour or colours.

The kit therefore contains the calculated amount of yarn for your chosen size. If you would like an extra ball for longer sleeves, alterations or simply to keep some spare yarn, you can easily add an extra ball when ordering.

Hundreds of knitting patterns for women, men and children

The collection includes much more than women's sweaters and cardigans. At Verelana, you will find knitting kits for women, men and children, with designs for different seasons, styles and difficulty levels.

Choose from sweaters, cardigans and other garments, as well as smaller projects such as scarves, hats and accessories.

Knitting and crochet kits for babies and toddlers

There are also many projects for younger children. Discover knitting and crochet kits for babies and toddlers, including small garments, accessories and other soft projects.

Where the model uses sizes, the required amount of yarn is calculated automatically according to the selected size.

Crochet kits, soft toys and amigurumi

Not every kit is designed for knitting. Crochet enthusiasts will also find a range of crochet kits at Verelana.

In addition to garments and accessories, there are also projects for soft toys and amigurumi, making this category suitable for both knitters and crocheters looking for a complete new project.

Choose a project by photo, yarn composition or needle size

Everyone searches for their next project differently. You may immediately fall in love with a design in a photo, prefer a particular yarn composition, or want to work with a specific needle size.

You can therefore compare our knitting and crochet kits according to the design and the characteristics of the yarn used, helping you find a project that suits both your taste and the way you like to knit or crochet.

Knitting kits with Lana Grossa yarns

A significant part of our collection consists of designs made with Lana Grossa yarns. Choose from a wide variety of designs and yarn qualities, from lightweight summer projects to warm sweaters and cardigans for colder days.

The amount of yarn is matched to the selected design and size. You then choose the available colour in which you would like to make the project.

Knitting patterns, magazines and needles

Depending on the selected project, the required knitting pattern or magazine can be added when offered as an option. Suitable knitting needles may also be added where available.

Please note that the patterns are only available in Dutch, German or French. English-language patterns are not available. If you already have the required pattern, magazine or needles, you can simply order the yarn for the selected project.

How much yarn do I need for a sweater?

The amount of yarn required for a sweater, cardigan or other garment depends on the design, size and yarn used, so calculating the correct quantity yourself is not always straightforward.

With Verelana knitting and crochet kits, you do not have to do this calculation yourself. Select your size and colour and the system automatically calculates the required number of balls for the design.

Where can I buy a complete knitting kit online?

At Verelana, you can choose online from hundreds of knitting and crochet projects. Browse the designs, select your size and favourite colour and let the system automatically calculate the correct amount of yarn.

Whether you want to make a women's sweater, men's cardigan, children's project, baby design, scarf, hat, soft toy or amigurumi, the subcategories above make it easy to find your next project.
